ORDERS

Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that it has been received. This confirmation does not signify acceptance. An order is accepted once it has been processed and dispatched.

In the unlikely event that we’re unable to fulfil your order (for example, due to availability or a pricing error), we reserve the right to cancel and issue a full refund.

PRODUCTS

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, features, specifications and details of our products. However please note there may be some variation due to the limitations of photography and as your device display may not accurately reflect the actual colours and details of our products.

Many of our pieces are made or finished to order. Subtle variations in colour, tone, and finish may occur, reflecting the nature of small-batch production and contributing to the individuality of each item.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All artwork, designs, imagery, and content created by Kim Doherty Design remain the exclusive intellectual property of the brand and are protected by copyright law.

The purchase of any product does not transfer ownership of copyright or grant any rights to reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit the work in any way.

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, you may not:

• Copy, scan, photograph, or digitally reproduce our artwork.
• Share or distribute images of the work for commercial purposes.
• Resell, sublicense, or use the designs for profit.
• Use our work in branding, marketing, or product creation.

Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of our work will be considered an infringement of copyright and may result in legal action.

We actively monitor and protect the use of our designs to preserve the integrity of the work and the business.

PRICING & PAYMENTS 

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may be updated from time to time but will not affect orders already placed. Payment is required in full at the point of purchase.

 You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via our website. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through our website. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. 

LIABILITY

Our lampshades are designed for use with standard UK fittings unless otherwise specified.

For safe use, please ensure:

• The correct fitting is used.
• The recommended bulb wattage is not exceeded.

Kim Doherty Design cannot be held responsible for damage or issues resulting from incorrect installation, unsuitable fittings, or misuse.

We take care in the creation and quality of our products. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Kim Doherty Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our
products.
